About Trustme

Trustme.lk is a review platform for Sri Lanka. Customers share their experiences of online shops, services and businesses, so everyone can see who to trust before they buy. Reviews are the views of the people who write them; Trustme only hosts them.

How it works

• Anyone can write a review with a free account. Write your review first – you log in or sign up afterwards and nothing is lost.
• Reviews go live straight away once your email address is confirmed.
• Every business with a website can be reviewed. If it isn't listed yet, add it.
• Ratings are the average of all live reviews, shown to the nearest half star: red for bad, through to deep green for excellent.

For businesses

• Claim your page for free by proving you own the website. Then add your logo and details, reply to reviews and add a rating widget to your website. Find out more.
• Businesses can't edit or delete reviews. If a review breaks our guidelines (bad language, personal details, fake), they can report it. It's hidden while our team checks it, and then put back or removed. A review put back after a check can't be reported again.

Common questions

Does Trustme list companies without permission?

Trustme doesn't choose which businesses appear. Customers add the websites they want to review, and only the domain name is shown until the business claims its page.

Can I change or delete my review?

Yes, at any time from My reviews.

How do you stop fake reviews?

Every reviewer must confirm their email, one person can review a business once, and we check for unusual patterns. Businesses can report suspicious reviews.
